  • Heat half a spoonful of olive oil, then soak it on a piece of cotton. Put it in the entrance of the ear and let it act for an hour.
  • Cut an onion into rings and mash it. Put it in a cloth and heat it in the microwave. Then apply as a compress to the sore ear.
  • Heat a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil for a few minutes. Add a crushed garlic clove to it. Let stand and when it is warm, soak a piece of cotton that you will introduce into the opening of the ear.
  • Heat the equivalent of two handfuls of rice and put them in a canvas bag or wrap them in a handkerchief. Put that on your pillow and put your ear on it.
  • In a clean, dry glass bottle, pour 7 drops of olive oil and the contents of one vitamin E capsule. Then add two crushed garlic cloves and mix well while shaking. Heat the flask in a water bath for one minute. Filter, then put a few drops in the ear.

Warning: Introducing liquids into the ear is not recommended in cases of pierced eardrums or if pus is coming out of the ear.

  • Heat two tablespoons of almond oil and let reduce to room temperature. Apply two drops in the ear canal and cover with a cotton ball to protect.
  • Boil a handful of oregano leaves in half a cup of water for three minutes. Take off heat and let cool. Drain and pour the mixture into a drip. Apply three drops to the painful ear (if the eardrum is not pierced).
  • Bake a potato and wrap it in a handkerchief. Apply this as a compress to the ear, as warm as possible.
  • Boil half a cup of water with a handful of coarse salt. Wet a cloth with this preparation and apply it to the ear.
  • Grate a radish and heat it. Wrap it in a fine linen cloth and affix it to the ear until it cools.
  • Pour three or four drops of aloe vera gel into the ear canal and hold your head to the side for a few minutes. This remedy is not recommended in the event of a perforated eardrum.
  • Crush a handful of chard leaves and extract the juice. Pour it into a drip and put four drops in the affected ear.
